Designing the sound — Posters and flyers for Aalborg’s club scene

This collection showcases a selection of posters and flyers created for various electronic music events in Aalborg. As both a DJ and music producer, I’ve always had a deep connection to the visual side of music culture, and designing artwork for events has been a natural extension of that passion.

The designs were created for different venues and collectives, including my time as a resident DJ at Club Vesteraa and as part of the DJ collective Frekvens. Each poster aimed to capture the unique energy of the event it represented, balancing typography, texture, and composition to create a visual rhythm that mirrors the music itself.

This blend of design and music allowed me to experiment freely with visual styles, pushing creativity beyond brand constraints and exploring how graphic design can translate sound, atmosphere, and emotion into a single image.
